TDI, great on fuel

When I first got my TDI I had the fuel light come on and was quite a way from a diesel station. I ended up making it 83 miles to the fueling station. I was sweating bullets! Now I generally stop at the next available station when the light comes on but I know on a road trip I have over 100 miles before I am totally out of fuel.
