Mom you take it

So i was driving to my friend's house after school and my car had a little less than an eight tank. When it gets that low i switch the on board computer display to show, in theory, how many miles my car could still go, it said around 48 miles. I was set my friend lived only 4 miles away. Then on my way home it said i could go 23 miles, because of the way i drive. Because it was rush hour it was complete stop and go traffic. I was about a mile away from home when my tank went to 1 mile. i started freaking out. i called my mom, i was like, "ahhhhhh im gonna run out of gas and stop!" then finally the computer said i couldn't go any more the screen read "-----" That was when i really started freaking out. I got home and i left the car right in the middle of the driveway hoping my mom or dad would need to move it to take one of their cars out and would see that i didn't have any gas left and drive it to the gas station to fill up so that if it would stop on the way their i wouldn't be the one that looked foolish. hahahahahahahahahhaha it worked
