Have my 6st Odyssey and have by now enough experience to say, that, when the light comes on and you refuel more or less immediatly ,that the pump stops with always 3 - 3.5 gal to spare. Therefore, when you are desperate for gas and NO station is close, you should be able to drive safely another40- 50 miles. Which you should only in emergency cases to protect the fuel pump.
