Simple math really......

2001 F-150 low fuel light comes on with 4-5 gallons to go. It has a 25 gallon tank, so you should be able to go 50 (city)-100(highway) miles before running dry. Furthest I have gone is 75 miles.....needed 22.7 gallons of gas on fill up, so I probably had 2.3 gallons left.
