Tank on Empty

My Dad was right

My Dad always said "There's no sense having a car if you don't know how far it will go on empty." We ran out of gas when I was about 10 years old coming home from an Oriole game. When we went into town, Dad said, "oh we're running kinda late, I'll get gas on the way home." Game went into extra innings and all stations were closed. So, we ran out about 5 miles from home. I remember an older couple stopped and gave us a ride home and took my dad back with a gas can to the car. That would have been around 1964, in a 1964 Ford Fairlane.
My Vibe can go at least 43 miles after the light comes on.

You were adopted. Your real father is your mothers uncle. That is why you can play the banjo so eloquently.
