Not 11.7 Gallons

I have never run out of gas in my Prius. I have gone only as far as 30 miles after the "low fuel" message comes on. BTW it does not hold 11.7 gallons. Even people that run out of gas report only being able to put in about 10.5 gallons. So, don't count on going the full distance as if you actually had 11.7 gallons in the car. You will run out of gas.

Uh, considering that a PRIUS gets 50mpg and can run on electric half the time I would say it is difficult to run one out of gas.
