Wrx Highway Cruise
My 320 whp WRX made it for about 55 miles while the E light was on. I was so nervous because we were travelling and I hate to stop for gas. So much that I kept waiting for the next station. Eventually, I gave in and pulled off to a filling station and only put in about 13.5 gallons. That means I still had about 1.5 gallons left.

I'm sure you never thought about your fuel pump.. just because you hate stopping for gas you could have burnt out the pump.. BRILLIANT! better safe than sorry.
the 2009 model introduced the IHI VF52 as the stock turbo for the WRX, which also hpapens to be fitted on the 2010. Generation 3 Mk1 WRX which is the 2008 uses the tiny TD04 turbo which grants the vehicle 224hp at the crank. I know because I felt the pain when Subaru decided to outfit the 09 with a larger turbocharger for the same sticker price only 1 year after I purchased the 08.?
