2001 Cougar

December 14, 2007 about Mercury Cougar

My car's electronic gage is nearly spot on, at least based on the state fuel tank capacity. When I do the calculations of how much gas it takes to fully fill the car based on what it said I used and had left, it always comes out within a tenth of a gallon.

For those with a 1999 to 2003 cougar that has some fuel issue, please be aware that the fuel pump was recalled on it and ford will replace it for free. The bad fuel pumps will give you false readings on the miles that are left most of the time, as well as other issues.

Front sakreepsFront Door: 6 8 Far rear sakreepsRear Seat Side Panels: 6 8 you are limited to where you can place it because its a small car and you don't have the room under the seat for a box and/or amp so you are limited to the trunk or the back shelf, but whit the back shelf you have to have free air or open air (no box) subs and they are hard to findas far as where you should go try a car audio shop in your area because they are more knowledgeable than people from best buy and/or circuit city and would be better at helping you choose the correct setup for your taste and car and are much better installers
