Gas Gauge Says 120% Full
My Ford Windstar says 120% full all the time. Apparently there was a recall on the Ford sending unit, but our van is too old to be covered, or is is outside the rage of the recall. I can also tell you that when your Ford runs out of gas, and they tell you that the fuel pump is bad,this is not always correct. you simply need to repressurize the fuel system by turning the key on, then off, then on again 5-6 times before trying to start the vehicle. It is a commen scam for repair shops to charge you for a new fuel pump when in fact the pump is NOT bad!!!

Usually, the motors are in plain sight 2 to 4 secwrs hold them on with a detatchable electrical set of wires., 2 couplers that connects to the mechanical levers that move the wipers. Dont know the cost of the motor but no more than an hour is needed to swap it out. Some motors inter-change should be no problem finding those that do.
