Responsibility

May 19, 2012 about Ford Taurus

As time goes bye, I see more and more kids that do not even know where there dip stick is. I know several girls that will not pump gass. If you are responsible enough to drive, know the common maintenance of a vehicle. Then you have the people that will spend there last dollar on smokes instead of gass and wonder why they ran out!!!!!!!!!!!!

RESPONSIBILTY!!!!!!!!!!!

ElleP - if you are going to post a comment about grammar, you should at least be literate enough not to make mistakes yourself. Your comment should be something more along the lines of "Sir, you may know cars, but you are illiterate. Time goes "by" and it's "their". If you're going to dis people, you should at least have some grammar down pat." Anyway, I agree with the post. People should learn to take more responsibility.

A chip less than the size of a quarter can be eisaly repaired. Fill the void with a specialty resin, cure it with a UV light, and the your windshield is good to go. There’s a little more to it than that… your auto glass repair technician might use heat to draw the resin in, or a device mounted to the windshield that will force the resin into the crack or chip. After curing the resin, a razor is generally used to smooth out the windshield repair. In the end, sometimes the damage will spread regardless of the skill of the auto glass tech. If the windshield cracks further, you should receive credit for the amount you spent on the repair when the auto glass shop installs a replaced windshield.

No , its not like that!!! Your windshield is part of the cars strrutuce. Its bonded to the car now, and that's why they crack the way they do. The flex of your car will put stress on the windshield and it wont stop till the crack reaches the other side. All front windshields are actually made of two thin sheets of glass with a thin sheet of plastic glued between then. When the window is shattered the plastic sheet keeps the glass in little pieces.Sorry .Good luck on your repair
