8 To 4 Cylinders

After being caught between fuel stations, I pushed the 2008 F250 diesel past zero by over 18 miles, before reaching more fuel. Around the last 8 miles the engine backed off to about 4 cylinders and ran with low compression to the station. It never quit running, but limped in. Max speed after cutting number of cylinders was about 10 MPH.
