June 25, 2007 about Buick Regal

I know that I have a 17.5 Gallon tank. When the light goes on and I fill it up, it will only take 14 Gallons to fill. Logical conclusion is that I have 3.5 Gallons left. Now I reset the trip odometer every time I refill and drive by that. I know the mileage that I am getting (28 to 30) if I keep my foot out of it. Just this morning , had to refill after four days of the lite on and normal driving.

I had a 97 Buick Regal and I would get the same mileage if I drove the car. When my wife drove the car I would only get 25 to 27 mpg

Leaks or drips of antifreeze/coolant is why I'm amadant about using Propylene Glycol instead of using the highly toxic ethylene glycol antifreeze/coolant. Besides being non-toxic and non-lethal it is more effective and lasts longer in your vehicle.
