Driving To Vegas

I was driving to Las Vegas and while in Death Valley my Display showed my tank was empty. The next gas station was twenty five miles away. Surprisingly I made it and before filling up I pushed the back of the car up and down and listened to the gas tank. It still had gas in it. No telling how much farther I could have gone.
