I just bought a 2013 Avalon, it has a 17gal. fuel tank, the low light fuel light came on and it showed I had only about 20 miles left, when I stopped and filed up it held 13.5 gal. I get about 28mpg. it doesn't add up, any help?

there is reserve in most cars (~1.5 gal for the Avalon).

Hello please I am driving an Acura 2008 model car I don't know what kind of smell that came from my car yesterday because I was driving on empty tank and before I knew it the the VTM sign came up please is my car faulty? what should I do.
