Gas Gauge

I have a 1999 Pontiac Grand AM GT with high output. My cars gas gauge is a floating needle and it just started happening. Everytime I fill up I reset my trip o meter and I know exactly how far I can drive without running out of gas regardless of what my gas needle says. Most I have pushed it without running out is like 275 miles. That was really pushing it. It requires dropping your gas tank and everyhting to put a new floater in. It is not worth it. This works for me.
