Hahaha!! Mazda'S Do Die!!
Back in the day when I was a starving college kid...what am I talking about, I still am!!! None the less, I used to drive a '94 mazda protege that I bought for $500 hundred dollars from a friend. I have ran out of gas on the side of the highway several times! My light would come on, and although I never calculated just how many miles I could go before it croaked, I'd drive for several days, to work and school and elsewhere before I was driving down the highway and it's lurch, then it'd just start coasting. After it happened a few times I had a sequence going. Whenever my light was on, I'd only drive in the far right lane, because I knew it was inevitable that my car was going to die, if not sooner, later. When I felt that lurch, I'd hit my flashers, and start coasting into the shoulder. And thankfully I always had a friend willing to pick me up!
