Highest Miles On A Tank Of Gas

So, the Add function doesn't allow more than 99 miles after the light goes on, that's just silly.
2 years ago when my Insight was in it's prime, I filled the tank and pressed the trip button. 1098 miles later, the engine sputtered and lost power. I pulled over and couldn't get the car to do more than idle. Apparently it was holding idle speed with just the electric motor.
The light came on 120 miles before the end.
By no means is this the best tank anyone has gotten out of an Insight ( see post 12892 at cleanmpg dot com, sorry links are blocked ) but it was my personal best.
