Inaccurate Gas Gauge On The Mazda 3?

My gauge seems to read about 1/8 of tank high. When the tank is full is reads well above the "full" level and when low it seems to be be at about 1/8 of a tank when the reserve light comes on. According to the manual you should be able to get 20+ miles once the reserve light comes on, but I have never pushed it more than a couple miles because I kind of distrust the gas gauge.

Anyone else seen this?

I have actually I have a mazda 3 and when i first got the car i it did read 1/8 above the fuel line, but as of late when I fill up my tank all the way it only goes up the the actual "full" level it wont go past the line anymore.

I have a Mazda3 and more times than not (yes I'm bad) I can go 40+ miles before my gauge reads 'E' and still make it to the station and not reach 12gals on the pump.
