Just In Time!

My fuel light turned on as I was driving to work one morning. It was about an 11 mile drive and I barely made it to the gas station on the way home. It was 10 miles to the station from my job and my car stalled just as I was pulling up to the pump. I was scared that I wouldn't make it, but I made sure the A/C was off and my windows were open just a bit to let air in on that hot summer day. This was indeed a miracle story and I vowed I would never do it again because I knew I wouldn't be so lucky next time! I have a different car now which gets better gas mileage, but everytime I get gas (even with the gas light on for awhile), I always manage to see that I have 3 gallons reserve whenever I fill up.
