My 2002 Saturn Sl

June 6, 2008 about Saturn 4dr Sedan

My car had 135,000 miles on it and was getting 32 mpg. Last weekend, I got a tune up replacing plugs, plug wires, fuel and air filters. She now gets 40 MPG! Now I should be able to go a little farther when in the red. (Not good for the fuel filter, though.)

I have a 2001 Saturn SL. I only have 36,000 miles on my car as everything is close but I get great milage. In town I average 29 mpg and on trips I get 42 mpg. It gets regular oil changes and check ups. I think it is the best. I see no reason to trade as nothing new can beat what I have.

I have a 2002 SL1 and I can get about 500kms on a 40L tank in the city. I can usually push 600-650 out of the tank on the highway going around 110kms.

When driving 70-80 mph I was getting around 30-35 miles per gallon. I've just started driving 55-60 mph (65ish if I'm late for work) and am getting over 40 miles per gallon in my 2002 SL. I love it!
