Trannys go out in this model at about 56000 miles. I would sell it fast and cheap and buy a nice butt plug.

I work for a taxi company which has 2007 to 2011 Impalas and they maintain their vehicles after all a vehicle out of service isn't making any money. The Impalas in our fleet have all had their transmissions replaced after failing at around the 120,000 KM / 65,000 Mile mark and most cars have had them replaced multiple times. Another problem is wheel bearings that fail. These Impalas require 5 times the maintenance as the Ford Crown Vic's. Sadly the don't make them anymore.

that the suspension is ciwheng up the tires and the car will never be aligned properly witout ~ $150 in additional parts to correct the problem. Says GM has known about the problem for a while and it extends to Malibu's as well as Impala's. Went to the local dealer who claims ignorance until I referenced TSB PIC-5406.I believed this was issues in 2010 AFTER the old GM went BK. It would seem to me that given this TSB, GM is tacitly accepting responsibility for a pre BK problem. But then, I'm not a lawyer.
