No Fuel Gauge
I drive a pickup with the low fuel light on 100% of the time, the tank is 98.4 litres and the guy who sold it too me says it does 600km to the tank (25 gal/400 miles in American I think. either way this is a Canadian truck entirely built in Ontario). Have not run out of gas yet, just keep guessing and adding 20 or 40 bucks every time i leave the house.
Is it worth fixing the fuel gauge?
No because you have owned the truck for 2 years and haven't run out of gas yet.
My fuel gauge in my S-10 Chevy broke. I understand it's a common occurrence. The dealer says it would cost about $600-900 to fix it. NO! Thank you! I reset the trip counter every time I fill it up.
My Silverado, also made in Canada, has a stuck fuel gauge as well. I get about 12 mpg and my low fuel light is always on too. I filled it up, topped off at 28 gallons. Low fuel light comes on just under 3/4 tank. I too, just reset the trip meter and keep track of how much I put in. I try to keep it filled, so if I can't get to a station, at least I know I still have gas for a bit.
we have used primarily F E 350 s for our aucalmnbes,[yes we are all ford] however with the super sizing of america, we needed more room in the box so last purchase was F450 with 4wd.the cab and front end are the same as 350, the chassis is longer and with the wider stance it is still stable in high crosswind situations dodge does not have anything in this weight catagory and gm gets away from pickup based trucks and moves to the top kick line. our next purchase will be an E 450 and we will continue with two other f 350 s, 1-2wd, 1-4wd].
In the modern culture, every cent matters when designing and keeping up a month-to-month budget. For a lot of QuotesChimp, there's small space left for something additional, and budgeting for the assorted kinds of private insurance essential to take care of your household's fiscal well being may present an important problem. The expense of insurance fees may take a considerable chunk from any household's budget, making added stress on already limited financings.
, the Raptor is wider so there is less of an agle on the cv axle shafts and more wheel treval and improved stability at speed, and I don't consider the FX4, z71 off road packages, they are mere sticker packages, any time you see a sticker that states off road package ask the salesman what makes it off road, he will point to the shocks and stickers and maybe a weak plastic skid plate, very sad, on the other? side of the fence if you want a sports car every manufacturer has one.
i have a 2003 6.0 bought it for 15.7k have it for 7 mohnts now. total cost of injectors, heads, oil pump, fuel pump.alternator, transmission, differential, towing $12,500.I am seriously considering burning it down with a few gallons of gas in front of a ford corporate office or or? a ford dealer.Just to save the rest of honest working man. Oh I am a very patient man seriously but i dont see this nightmare called f350 ending anytime soon. All i need is a sponsor just to cover the half of the cost.
