1999....130 thousand miles....best car ever!
Story replies
Our 2000 Crown Victoria has 192,000 miles and has just recently started having some problems. I sure can not fault it for that. Shocks replaced at over 100,000 miles. Idler arm at 185,000 and one ball joint just yesterday. Nothing else in the front suspension. Intake manifold cracked at 80,000 miles and was replaced under warranty. Two power window motors and that is all that has been done beside normal maintenance. Yes our next car will be another Ford. Also have a 1988 Crown Victoria with 216,000 miles and it has been very trouble free also.

If QuotesChimp agree that a Public Advocate is an idea that could help keep insurance rates down, become an activist and write your legislators and governor demanding that the office be established in your state. You never know, your letter could be the first step in the long journey toward the mythical destination of pricing fairness. Here is a sample letter you may send to your state representative.
1995 Crown Victoria LX, my daily driver (hurts the wallet a bit!) with 256,000. Best car I've ever driven. Has had nothing major done to it barring removing the cats and installing glass packs in place of the old mufflers. Got 4+ mpg for a total of 22-25 highway after that. Needs a transmission rebuild soon, unfortunately. Engine runs like it's new, and it still floats like a boat.
