Overfill? Or Bad Pump Meter?
May 4, 2018 about Chrysler PT Cruiser
I recently filled my 2010 PT Cruiser ("Bowtie" edition) 2 tone silver & black w/ red leather interior & sunroof.
The Safeway gas station pump registered 16.7 gallons which I have the receipt for. This made me question the pump's accuracy & I will contact the managers at both fuel department & the store itself for a response.
Does anyone think it is even possible that a 2010 whose manual states clearly that the fuel capacity is 15 gal. could take 1.67 gal. beyond that amount?
