Ran Out Of Gas To Test...

Once the empty fuel light lit, my 2005 Rav4 2 wheel drive 4cyl auto. drove about 40 miles on Fwy averaging 70mpg - before running out of gas & unable to start. Once i filled it up with container that holds 2 gallons of gas, The fuel arrow jumped above empty. Hence there is about 1.5 gallons left in the car once the empty light is lit - The car is averaging 25mpg on Fwy
